An everyday pump with a motor you wear on a lanyard
The BabyBuddha® 3.0 is a rechargeable primary pump, made for pumping every day, with strong suction you can turn down low. New on the 3.0: a fourth pumping mode and every insert size in the box.
Tubing runs from the motor to the bottles, so your hands stay free for dinner or a fussy baby.

Questions moms ask about the BabyBuddha 3.0
How strong is the BabyBuddha 3.0 suction?
It adjusts from 53 up to 315 mmHg, BabyBuddha says, across 30 settings in 4 modes. BabyBuddha’s manual lists a 300 mmHg limit in its safety section, so the two maker sources differ a little. Either way it is above the 270 mmHg the Spectra S1 and S2 list, and you can start low and save the stronger levels for when your milk is flowing.
What changed from the BabyBuddha 2.0?
The 3.0 adds Double Drop Expression, a fourth mode, for 30 settings in all, up from 21 on the 2.0. It also comes with the EasyFit Flange System: ten inserts from 13 to 21 mm and a sizing ruler.
How do I put the BabyBuddha 3.0 together?
Six steps from BabyBuddha’s manual: 1. Push the duckbill valves tightly onto the pump body. 2. Attach the flange. 3. Press the silicone diaphragm into the cylinder on the pump body. 4. Screw the upper cover on until it sits flat. 5. Push one tube onto the air port of the upper cover. 6. Screw the bottle onto the pump body top. Then join the tubes at the T-connector, plug them into the motor and charge it over USB-C. BabyBuddha also has an assembly video on its 3.0 setup page.
How do I clean the BabyBuddha 3.0?
Wash every part that touches your breast or your milk after each use: the flange, inserts, duckbill valves, diaphragms, pump body tops, bottles, lids and screw caps. BabyBuddha’s manual says these are dishwasher safe, except the upper cover, tubes, T-connector, motor and charging cable. Wipe the motor with a soft cloth and never put it in water. The tubes never touch milk, so don’t sterilize them, but replace them right away if you see mold.
Where do I get BabyBuddha 3.0 replacement parts, and how often?
BabyBuddha says to replace the silicone diaphragms about every 8 weeks and the duckbill valves every 4 to 5 weeks, depending on use. We carry the BabyBuddha valve kit and the 8.5 oz bottle kit, and you can see the whole line on our BabyBuddha page.
How long does the BabyBuddha 3.0 battery last, and how do I charge it?
About one hour of pumping per full charge, according to BabyBuddha’s manual, which also says a full charge takes up to 4 hours over USB-C. You can pump while it charges, and BabyBuddha says to use a 5V 2A adapter, which isn’t in the box. BabyBuddha’s product page doesn’t give a runtime.
How loud is the BabyBuddha 3.0?
BabyBuddha calls it extra quiet but doesn’t publish a decibel rating, so we can’t give you a number. If noise matters, call us and we’ll tell you how it compares with the pumps we carry.
Is the BabyBuddha 3.0 hospital grade?
BabyBuddha doesn’t call the 3.0 hospital grade, and we don’t use that label for any pump. The number to compare is maximum suction: 315 mmHg on BabyBuddha’s site, against 270 mmHg on the Spectra S1 and S2.
Which flange size fits the BabyBuddha 3.0?
It comes with two 24 mm EasyFit flanges, ten soft inserts (two each in 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21 mm) and a paper nipple ruler, so you can try sizes at home. BabyBuddha says the right size matters for comfort and output. Call us if you’d like help measuring.
Can I use the BabyBuddha 3.0 lying down?
BabyBuddha’s manual says to keep an upright posture while you pump and never to use the pump while asleep or drowsy. It doesn’t address reclining, so we’d sit up and keep the bottles upright.
Does insurance cover the BabyBuddha 3.0?
Yes. Most health plans must cover a breast pump under federal rules, and we check your plan, get the prescription from your doctor, and ship the BabyBuddha 3.0 to your door. Start your order through insurance, and we will tell you before anything ships if your plan covers a different pump.
How does the BabyBuddha 3.0 compare with the eufy S2?
The BabyBuddha 3.0 reaches 315 mmHg with a lanyard motor and tubing, while the eufy S2 reaches 300 mmHg and sits inside your bra with no tubing. The eufy runs about 6.5 hours per charge, eufy says, against about an hour on the BabyBuddha, but the BabyBuddha pumps while plugged in.
Can I get a BabyBuddha pump through insurance?
Most health plans, including Marketplace plans, must cover a breast pump under federal rules (HealthCare.gov). We check your plan, get the prescription from your doctor, and ship the BabyBuddha 3.0 to your door. If your plan covers a different pump, we will tell you before anything ships.
